Katharine Lumley grew up in rural Ontario, Canada, where she read every book she could get her hands on. At a very early age, she was introduced to antiques and she began to spin unique worlds and stories for each object. She would often spend her afternoons writing short stories on an old typewriter.
Eventually Katharine's first part-time job was at the local library, where she ended each shift with a new stack of books to read. Katharine carried her appreciation for working with books into her university career, achieving a BA (Honours) in English Language and Literature and a Master of Library and Information Science.
When not furiously scribbling in a notebook, you can find Katharine drowning under her current tbr or dreaming longingly of snow drifts.
